Sawa takes the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year; Sasaki named Best Coach
Nadeshiko Japan captain Homare Sawa won the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year and her Nadeshiko coach Norio Sasaki was honored with the FIFA Coach of the Year prize for women’s football on Monday night at the FIFA Gala in Zurich.
In addition to both awards, the Japan Football Association won the FIFA Fair Play Award.
