Ogura appointed EAFF president

 

Japan Football Association Vice President Junji Ogura was appointed President of the East Asian Football Federation on Tuesday at an EAFF Congress in Tokyo. His period of service will be two years.

Ogura, 70, who also serves as both a FIFA and AFC Executive Committee member, is the second Japanese to be appointed to the post following Shun-ichiro Okano, who was the first EAFF president.
