The final of the 2009 AFC Champions League will take place on November 7 at the National Stadium in Tokyo. The kickoff time will be announced later.

The finale of the annual Asian club competition will change from a two-leg format to a one-off final this year, following the tournament’s restructuring.
The new-look ACL will start with the group stage from March 10 and will feature four clubs from the J. League: defending Asian champions and Emperor’s Cup holders Gamba Osaka, J. League champions Kashima Antlers, J. League runners-up Kawasaki Frontale and third-place finishers Nagoya Grampus.
