Yamada nets brace as Japan U-20s beat Korea Republic
Substitute midfielder Naoki Yamada of Urawa Reds struck twice to help the Japan Under-20 side rally past Korea Republic 2-1 in a friendly match on Saturday in Changwon, Korea.
The young Japanese side came under pressure from the hosts and allowed their Korean counterparts to go ahead in the 37th minute.
Yamada, who came off the bench in the 58th minute, equalized in the 78th minute and found the target again two minutes from time.
Yamada was named Man of the Match.
