Japan U-17s to play Burkina Faso

The Japan Under-17 national team will play two matches against their counterparts from Burkina Faso in the middle of June during a tour to the African country, which is part of their preparations for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in autumn.

The Japanese boys, guided by Yutaka Ikeuchi, will play the Burkina Faso Under-17 side on June 17 and 20 and a friendly match against a Ouagadougou City XI on June 19.
The 22-member squad will get together on Saturday ahead of their departure and start training in Burkina Faso on Monday.
