Futsal Japan will make a new start under the guidance of recently appointed Spaniard Miguel Rodrigo when they take part in an international tournament in China from June 19 to 21.

The 14-member squad consists of players from various Japanese F. League clubs, as well as Kensuke Takahashi of Spanish club Caja Segovia and Akira Yoshida of Italian club Orvieto.
The squad will hold a short domestic training session  before leaving for Hangzhou, China.
Japan will play Iran on June 19, the Netherlands on June 20 and hosts China on June 21, all at Yellow Dragon Stadium.
