‘Team Nishimura’ to officiate Netherlands-Brazil quarterfinal
Referee Yuichi Nishimura and assistant referees Toru Sagara of Japan and Jeong Hae Sang of Korea Republic have been appointed to work the 2010 World Cup quarterfinal between Netherlands and Brazil on Friday, FIFA announced on Thursday.
This will be their fourth match in the ongoing tournament.
It will be the first time for a Japanese official to take charge of a World Cup quarterfinal match and to officiate in four matches in one tournament.
