EAST ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Japan lost 3-1 to Korea Republic in their third and final match of the East Asian Championship on Sunday at the National Stadium in Tokyo after the both sides went down to 10 men.
Japan finished third on four points from a 1-1-1 win-draw-loss record behind China (seven points) and Korea Republic (six points). Hong Kong had no points to finish fourth.
