JFA, EAFF send donation for Haiti quake victims
The Japan Football Association has teamed up with the East Asian Football Federation to deliver a donation for Haiti quake victims via the Japan Red Cross Society. The money was collected during the recent East Asian Championship and East Asian Women’s Championship in Tokyo.
The donation totaled \198,685, which was combined with \2 million from the JFA and US$20,000 from the East Asian Football Federation.
The biannual four-nation men’s and women’s tournaments were held in Tokyo from February 6 to February 14(women’s: February 13).
