Player changes announced for Japan women’s U-23s

 Three players have withdrawn from the Japan women’s U-23 squad for the East Asian Games in China.
 The three players are midfielder Hamada Haruka of Speranza Osaka Takatsuki, forward Nishikawa Asuka of FC Kibi International University Charme and midfielder Shimada Chiaki of Nippon Sport Science University. The first two are injured while Shimada is in poor physical condition.
 No replacements were called up.
 Japan will play Chinese Taipei on Monday, hosts China on Wednesday and DPR Korea on Friday in the round-robin tournament.
